A few days ago, Steve Jobs unveiled Apple’s new iPod line. Some people aren’t as excited with the changes in the product line as I am but that’s how life is. My 3rd gen is just around 7+ months old but I’m already considering getting the new 4th generation iPod Touch because I love the new features they added from the iPhone 4. It really is like an iPhone without the phone part. Some love the iPhone but I really love my Nokia e63, so I’m ecstatic that I can enjoy the new features from iPhone 4 without needing to get one. I read about the Couch to 5k Running Plan (commonly referred to as C25K) early this year and I bought the C25k app for my iPod Touch a few months ago, but I only started using it recently. Couch to 5K is a beginner’s running plan created by Josh Clark and is specifically designed for individuals who are just taking up running. I was looking for a good weight loss program that I can do by myself since my friends don’t have much free time to go to the gym or do any group exercises. I first learned about the Facebook Places feature when I helped set-up a new Facebook account for my friend. She doesn’t know much about technology and privacy issues so I helped her tweak her account’s privacy settings. Facebook has a reputation of making new updates and features without informing its userbase early on so they can change their settings accordingly. Oftentimes users hear about it from other users who found out about it from news and blog posts or when they accidentally find it when they edit some of their profile and privacy settings. It isn’t fully functional in Facebook Philippines yet, but since it says it’ll be available soon, it would be best to check and set your privacy settings now so you won’t be caught unexpectedly when the updates to Places rolls over to our region.
