Free Pet Sims, Dollies and Browser Games are fun.

I’ve been playing all kinds of browser games since my computer started to die on me whenever I installed a new mmorpg. Yes, I did play computer games. Everyone goes through that phase right? Lol.

After playing pRO (Philippine Ragnarok), Gunbound, RAN, Flyff, GoPets and more, I decided to let my computer rest and opted instead to play online browser games. They are usually free and they use less memory on your computer. I started with the usual browser games like Neopets, Marapets and the like. After becoming bored, I got into PonyIsland, Wajas, Kapilands, Travian and Miss Bimbo.

PonyIsland is an online pony community. The ponies resemble My Little Ponies, so if you or your kids like MLP‘s (My Little Ponies) its a good game to play. There are Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasus, Winged Unicorns, Fairy Ponies, Flutter Ponies, Phoenix Ponies, Valkyries and the recent addition the Kyrin Ponies. There’s a free 20 days trial, after that you’d have to pay $14 for 6 months or $23 for a year if you’d like to continue playing the game. The community is great and if you are into adoptables, PonyIsland is a great place to find and trade them.

Wajas is a wolf adoptable that started out in PonyIsland before becoming its own pet site. There are many available markings and mutations. The basic account is free, you can get upgrades and buy tokens to get 1st generation of the breeds. Its a good site but registrations are closed at the moment since its being revamped.

If you however are not that interested in ponies and wolves, and is inclined with capitalist games, I highly recommend Kapilands.com. It is a simulation of business economies and will surely keep you playing for a long time. I’ve started playing since early February when the first realm started and I’ve been playing it ever since. Its a good game to play since it doesn’t need that much attention since you can run your production and sales on cycles. It also enables you to find friends since you deal both with player and non-player markets. I am a member of Tib-ft.de which is one of the best syndicates in kapilands.com. You will find suppliers, customers and friends in that forum.

Another browser game which will test your strategy in expanding your empire would be Travian.com. I played it for a while, (I even bought subscriptions to get the game upgrades) but since I am not that good in games where people conquer other player’s empires, I deleted my account so that other players won’t be able to farm me. :D I like games which isn’t that competitive. That’s why I liked Kapilands. I didn’t have to worry that I’d lose my investments after I returned from a week long hiatus, unlike in Travian.

Recently, I’ve also been interested in dollies. I remember when I was younger, I used to buy those paper dolls in the small sari-sari stores in our neighborhood. These days, its mostly online. I get to blog and surf, while I play dress-up on my dollies. One of the sites I joined up is MissBimbo.com. It started with its French site, and just recently an English version started where I joined. Its like a grown-up version of dollies, since you’d have to get through several tasks to lebel-up so you can get better clothes and accessories, better jobs and better boyfriends. Yes. Boyfriends. Funny, since many children play this game as well. The boyfriend levels start with an old actor and ends with an old millionaire. This is Sherriana, she’s had a makeover already, but this was her old picture:

I’m enjoying all these browser games not only because they are fun, but because they not too heavy for my old pc. Besides, I don’t have to pay much to enjoy these games unlike with other mmorpg which I used to spend all my money in. :D
