Fear strikes Batangas residents as news of the rampant kidnapping of children for their internal organs reach alarming heights. Each day more reports of kidnappings are shared and talked about by Batangueños for the said kidnappings have already spread not just only on the barrios all over Batangas but even on the cities.
Residents have dubbed these kidnappers as the “Internal Gang” for they are reported to be kidnapping children as well as adults and then taking their eyes or internal organs and placing money inside the victim. Some reports have said 30 thousand while other said 20 thousand and some were even said to be 100 thousand. Some were said to be dropped of back to where they were abducted or in front of their homes, many have died while some say there are reports of victims in hospitals who were in a 50/50 state.
Below is a forwarded text message, just one of the many messages circulating around the province:
PROVINCIAL NEWS: 30 bata sa padre garcia ang nadukot at tinanggalan ng mata at internal organs at isa ay taga-National High School na kanina lamang nangyari. Madami na din ang nabiktima sa may parteng Rosario at Batangas lalo na sa mga tapat ng paaralan. Mag-iingat po tayong lahat at huwag uuwi ng gabi, kahit ang matanda ay pinagtatangkaan na din ng internal gang na ito na naglalagay ng 100 thousand/depende, pagkatapos kunin ang lamang loob at mata.
English Translation:
PROVINCIAL NEWS: 30 children in Padre Garcia have been kidnapped whose eyes and internal organs have been taken. One of them is from the National High School which just happened earlier. Many have been victimized in Rosario and in Batangas especially those in front of their schools. Everyone is advised to take caution and to avoid going home late at night. Attempts have also been made on adults by this internal gang who places 100 thousand/depends on the victim after taking their internal organs or their eyes.
Many residents have avoided being out late and as early as 6pm, you will notice that the streets are unusually quiet. Children have already been warned by parents and one cannot see unattended children outside even on family compounds. What we all fear is that it seems like nothing have been shown on the news yet about this issue so many residents are confused whether to believe it or not. Though these reports continue to come from the grapevine since none have been shown in the media, many Batangueños have opted to practice safety since many feel and believe that is is better to be cautious and stay indoors rather than take the risk of being victimized if indeed the reports circulating are true.
Aside from the said 30 children, there have been other reports of children being abducted in Janopol (Tanauan, Batangas) and another two children from Sto. Tomas Batangas. Some news from the grapevine say that the police have been alerted but up to now, we haven’t seen any patrol officers roaming around to keep a lookout for these kidnappers.

This has just been reported in TV Patrol World in ABS-CBN just this night. And there had been checkpoints that the police are conducting. Armed with long guns. Saw them myself…. Just sharing

Heya Unknown, yup I just saw the clip right now as well. I was supposed to post this yesterday but yeah. Lol. The checkpoints I saw yesterday were more of checking for rally paraphernalia so I don’t know. And here in our place no roving patrols can be seen.

Buti na lang you posted this article. This news is ridiculous. The level of my curiousity is arising. I’m really looking forward na mahuli kung sino man ang nasa likod ng lahat ng ito. Why don’t police het into action? My opinion is that the action should not be delayed for any reasons. What do they say? “there’s no evidence” huwaat?!! It’s like they want to wait until all of us are killed! My stand is that police should help prevent the widespreading crime.
I’ll state an example. If you’re sick and you know that sooner or later your illness would affect your whole body, would you wait until you’re dying? Of course, not!–right? Instead, you would go to a doctor and ask for a cure to prevent things from getting worse. So in relation to the real situation, POLICE should take action before it’s too late. I, as a student, is very busy nowadays but this news keeps alarming me. I’m planning to have a research about this. So if anyone could give more info…email me. Thanks!! @Jam: Hello, I do hope they find him. My best friend’s sister is also worried frantic since their maid is still missing after receiving a message that she was on her way there to their residence in lipa and then 30 minutes later her phone cannot be contacted at all. We do hope she just ran away or eloped and that nothing bad did happen to her.
@Jack: Sana nga kwentong barbero lang ito. If it is, its a story that has gone really bad. Its really affecting people here in Batangas especially since its about children. They’re to precious to just risk not believing and taking safety precautions. Naalala ko tuloy yun Mad Killer craze back when I was in grade school. That was something that gave me nightmares back then and I never did forget it.

Right now more news of the issue being true circulates the province kasi it was said pa na there were instances na muntik makuha yun isang worker of Yazaki sa calamba, pero nakita daw ng guard kaya hindi nakuha yun worker na napagkamalang bata kasi maliit. Even sa San Pedro meron din daw sabi. but the thing is walang nagsasalita or nagrereport talaga siguro. Or if there is baka hindi pinapaniwalaan lang. Sana talaga more people come forward na para malinaw na yun issue.

i want to see a body in the news. something concrete. unless i see one, i wouldn’t believe that the scale that they say it has is true. it could just be one or two incidents but the government decided to sow the seeds of panic to divert the masang Pilipino’s attention from jun lozada. it has been effective so far. the media and hearsayers has been blowing this out of proportion
it’s laughable that every municipality (ask around and you’ll know it’s true) now has stories circulating among its constituents that a kid has either been found dead with money or was almost taken.

this is very alarming…even kami affected din ng news na to, kaya nga ung anak ko, hatid sundo din ngaun sa skul bec we want to be more cautious and careful. what is so frustrating is that the police is not admitting any of these reports, sana if they dont believe kahit paano sana mag papatrol sila esp don sa mga malapit sa schools and esp during pasukan or uwian ng mga bata.
i have an officemate who told me that one of their boys has a sister who almost became a victim of this gang sa cavite, nanlaban lang at nakatakas ung bata.
if the authorities continue to deny and wont do anything about this, sana tayo na mismo as parents and as concerned citizens shld start doing something about this by being vigilant and tau na mimo magpatrol sa mga communities natin.

any attempted kidnapping is now lumped under “almost taken by the after-your-kid’s- internal-organs gang”. how do people know na yung nagtangkang humablot sa bata was that gang? do they wear t-shirts na may tatak ng internal organs gang sa harap? or do they introduce themselves muna? i don’t get it how people immediately know na sila na nga yung muntik tumangay sa bata.
may scapegoat na yung mga other gangs (child prostitution, child labor, illegal adoption, etc.). dapat naman talaga binabantayan ang mga kids, make sure that they are out of harms way. being a parent means you must never waver on your vigilance.
