I know Multiply.com started out here as a social network like Orkyut where you can easily upload tons of pictures in an album to share with your contacts. Going to Multiply is much like going to a bazaar or a tiangge. You can find almost everything you need at good prices, and this time all from the comforts of your own home. Many payment options are available ranging from pick-ups/meet-ups, GCash/Smart Money and bank deposits. Once Multiply members pick up the use of Paypal as a payment option, it won’t be long to see people adapting to it and doing their shopping and their businesses online.

Air21 and LBC franchises suddenly seems like a lucrative business if Pinoys continue the trend of going online for their purchases and sales.

Side note: It can be quite annoying though when you get endless Multiply spam in your emails which I do get daily. Lol.
